According to the original Kinsey Report the ratio was approximately 60% of men as compared to 30% of women were unfaithful to their spouses before the age of 40. Today those numbers remain proportionately the same.

At the end of the day what us women want to know is why do women cheat?

Not all men cheat but here are the most likely reasons they will:

Not ready for commitment

They are not satisfied with their current partner but are too much if a coward to end the relationship

They are worried about their finances and living circumstances if they end the relationship

They like the idea of having various sex partners

They crave the excitement of the risk of having a secret affair

They need the attention if their partner is not fulfilling their needs

Some men believe that they can get away with it

Some men just need a place, women need an excuse to have an affair

Some men see having an affair as a quick fix as it takes more hard work to work on a struggling relationship

Some men think it is harmless because they are keeping their marriage and family intact

Some men just need to have new sex as it is different irrespective of whether the other woman is sexually attractive

Some cheat because they do not take their relationships seriously

Men can be single minded and don’t think about the consequences of their actions

Having sex with more than one woman is an ego boost for men with low self esteem

Men cheat because they are bored in their current relationships

The man assumes that the partner is bored with the sex.

The man assumes that his partner is having an affair

The woman sex drive is not as high as it was before

They want something with no strings attached

There is no old baggage with someone new

Different people have different likes and dislikes

Their partner may not be interested in doing sexual acts like oral sex, anala sex, threesomes etc.

They may want to remember what it was like to be free and desirable

Men cheat because they feel that women are given too many rights and powers publicly and domestically

Lack of poor communication with the partner can lead to men going astray

They rushed into the relationship and feel trapped

Genetics - according to Swedish researchers 40% of men have the gene linked to infidelity. The latest research has discovered that the genetics of cheating rodents and the genetics of unfaithful men are similar. The gene variant found in cheating voles is also present in 2 of every men.. Those men who possessed the gene variant were more likely to have a marital dysfunction and to get divorced.. In men with 2 copies of the gene variant they were twice more likely to cheat than those without it.

.There are some good men out there which is why you should be more choosey, not rush into anything and do not ignore the tell tale signs of a love cheat.

Most Common Signs of a Cheating Man
If your man is cheating then eventually he will get caught. These days it is easier to cheat because of the internet.. Nowadays the possibility of cheating has become easier than ever. However there are a number of ways you can find out if your man is one of them. If your man is doing any of the following he may be cheating..

Is he spending less time with you? If he is cheating then he will be making up excuses that he is working long hours, important events etc so he has time for the other woman.. Are there times when he disappears for longer than necessary periods such as spending 5 hours at the gym? He could be spending time with the other woman
Is he less affectionate with you? Has your sex life gone downhill? If he doesn’t want to hug and kiss, hold hands or do other romantic things he may be seeing someone else..
Has he changed his image? If he looks more attractive than maybe he wants to impress the other woman..
Have you noticed a change to his car? Maybe the radio station is not tuned into the usual station or you may have noticed an unknown hair because he has started picking up another woman.
Does he smell different? If he is cheating he may smell of perfume, smoke or alcohol.
Has he become more irritable about trivial things that never annoyed him before? He could be feeling guilty. Is his behaviour defensive when you question him of where he has been? Does he try to make accusations that you are paranoid, insecure, possessive and don’t trust him. He may be trying to make you feel at fault to cover up his own actions. Has he become suspicious of you? He may suspect you could be cheating if he himself is doing it. Does he explain himself in too much detail when you ask a simple question? He may be planning what to say to cover his own back.
Is his phone turned off when he is with you? He may be afraid that the other woman will call. Does he leave the room to have telephone conversations? He may be speaking to the other woman. Do you check his phone bill? Are there any numbers that you do not recognize? Is he calling these numbers frequently for long periods? Does he try to hide the phone bill from you or his mobile phone? Is your man using the internet for long periods at night? Does he close the door for privacy? Does he try to hide the screen when you come into the room? He may be chatting to the other woman. Is he super defensive if you go near his phone or computer?
Does he tell you that he is broke? He could be broke if he is spending money on the other woman. He may be paying with cash so it won’t show up on his bank statement. Therefore he may be making more ATM cash withdrawals.
